James M. Butcher is an experienced public affairs and public relations professional, having worked in communications and public affairs for over ten years. James has extensive knowledge in the political, healthcare and construction industries and currently serves as the Director of Policy for a major UK construction trade association.

James started his career working for a mainstream UK political party in a campaigning role, before going on to work in the UK Parliament. He then worked for a specialist healthcare communications consultancy for almost five years before moving into his current role in the construction industry. James has also previously served as a local councillor on three different councils and has a degree in politics from the University of Sussex and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).
